Paranoid Autophobia
Paranoid Autophobia is the darker side of Lutjanus music. It is an outlet for experience of suffering at the hands of depression, emotional abuse and physical anguish. Paranoid Autophobia came about as a way of expression and release for all the pent up, bottled up trauma and depression suffered through growing up. It came out in the form of sonic torture. Paranoid Autophobia draws pain from deep down inside and twists it into audial torment in the form of psycho gore noise grind, reflected in the fast tempos, distorted razor guitars and cracked vocals. You can hear the pain in the vocals and lyrics. Paranoid Autophobia is not for the faint of heart, nor is it for people who are happy with their lives. Paranoid Autophobia exists as a monument to all who have suffered, and is the reflection of a hidden, beaten down soul… Stare into it’s depths and revel in it’s exquisite pain…
For the first time ever, Lutjanus will be working with another tormented soul. Bubsy Grindhead, from Grindhead Records, and also from Sydney legendary avante grind band Ebolie, will joining Paranoid Autophobia on lead vocals. We will be working together on the upcoming Paranoid Autophobia full length album, yet to be titled. Expect sonic harshness and a journey through madness!!!
The Story Behind the Logo
The Paranoid Autophobia logo reflects Lutjanus depression and pain in its design, shown in its childlike scrawl. The childlike scrawl represents a recession back to a childlike state, to harbour ones self from outside and inside painful triggers and influences. The childs handwriting is superimposed over the Rorschach inkblot test, which was developed to examine a persons personality characteristics and emotional functioning. All in all, the Paranoid Autophobia logo is an accurate representation of the mind state of the music.
