I am available for commercial sound design. Areas of expertise include:

My approach is to work with you closely to determine the specific needs of your Project. I will then present you with a quote, based on an hourly rate or a lump sum price. If accepted, we will then work closely to achieve key milestones and insert your sound into your Project. I aim to produce sound to the an outstandingly high level of quality, that will enhance and add value to your Project.

Sound and music experience:

- 30 years as a musician (classically trained in piano and music theory)
- 10 years + of sound, soundscape and film score design for small Projects and music releases
- 3 different musical Projects – Lutjanus, Fear Of The Deep Blue, Paranoid Autophobia
- Education in sound design, music theory, sound theory, mixing.
- Bachelor of Engineering (Naval Architecture) UNSW – including theory on vibration, wave theory etc
- Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Curtin University
- Live performance

Equipment
.
I have a fully functioning studio. The core unit is an Apple MacBook Pro, with a second screen. DAW is Ableton Live. Within live I use a range of plugins, including orchestral suites, beatmaking, samplers, effects and racks. In addition to software instruments and effects, the studio also boasts a range of instruments, including guitars, percussive, bells, horns etc. When this is not enough, I am frequently recording sound “on location”, using portable sound recording equipment. Previous locations have included industrial factories, underwater, boats, high wind areas, bushland etc. All sounds gathered are picked through with a fine tooth comb, disassembled and reassembled to meet the scope of the contract.
